Bridleway between Warsop and Langwith, was old railway line, quite sludgy at times, can tell the route served a colliery due to the coal dust on the trail.

Ancient holloway through the Welbeck estate on the wonderfully named Drinking Pit Lane. The best off road route to Clumber Park from the Creswell area.

  • Icon 164523 It is dangerous for pedestrians. It is a country crossroad. A lot pf people walk down Westwick Row and where it joins Green Lane and Buncefileld Lane there is no proper pavement. Drivers use Green Lane as a branch off from the M1 . Speed restrictions of 30 should be enforced. 2 mini housing estates have been built , which has increased traffic and pedestrian use, but no consideration has been given to pedestrians. The lanes still make a nice country walk but it needs to be made more pedestrian friendly, especially at the junction.
  • Icon 164522 Narrow road due to parking with traffic going too fast. Ideal solution would be for it to be pedestrianised.
  • Icon 164521 Bowley Avenue junction is used on walk to school. It is very difficult to navigate due to being tight. Issue is road speed on main road, feel it should be a 30mph zone extended to Thorpe Arnold
  • Icon 164520 Road is too busy to use to cycle. Need a cycle path to connect to town centre. It needs to connect all the way to new developments and proposed MMDR.
  • Icon 164519 Most of the paths in Hampson Park are not wide enough to allow social distancing and not comprehensive enough to enable a good exercise route on a suitable surface all year round. A footpath improvement plan should be developed and consulted upon.
  • Icon 164518 The pavement is missing meaning people have to walk in carriageway or criss-cross the road on a bend near junctions.
  • Icon 164517 Desire line which is often founderous and would benefit from surfacing to assist pedestrian access for circular routes and to Crooked Billet PH
  • Icon 164516 There is insufficient width for social distancing and only one suitable pavement. The solution should be subject to further consultation.
  • Icon 164510 Greatbatch Avenue becomes a smoggy unsafe nightmare due to the minority of parents who try to drive their children as close to the Willows school gate as possible. A school street closure would solve this problem by removing the idea of pick up and drop off by car right by the gate.
  • Icon 164509 A raised table at this Stone Street junction would make Princes Road safer by calming traffic, especially for walking to school
  • Icon 164508 Improve towpath for dual use
  • Icon 164505 There needs to be a segregated cycleway between Buntingford/Puckeridge and Hertford along the A10 to enable people to commute & also to access rail stations & other public transport
